Episode #115: 30 Things I Would Tell My Twenty Something Year Old Self

30 things I would tell my twenty something year old self.png

…and the list goes ON on todays very special episode of the podcast when I celebrate turning 30 by sharing thirty things I would tell my twenty something year old self.

I’ve been doing an episode like this since I started the podcast and it’s always my favorite way to celebrate my birthday and take stock of the lessons I’ve learned so I can share them with all of you.

Writing these out, I got really in my feels — le duh, it’s me.

My twenties were a bumpy AF ride — and everything I’ve learned have come from so much:

The moments of celebration, alignment and fierce confidence….from coming out as bi & poly and owning my unique way of loving to publishing a book to getting my preventative double mastectomy to creating a life & businesses that I love and beyond.

And, of course, the moments of shame, overwhelm & not-enoughness…from my eating disorder cycle to navigating panic attacks to having my heart broken…and so many more things that I dive into and share on todays episode of the podcast.

Sending so much love to my younger self and to all of you — we’re all simply doing our best, eh? Let’s keep showing up through all the fears, the feels and, of course, the fucks.

Episode #27: LYFYL Pep Talk Series | Becoming a Consistency Queen on your health & fitness journey

PODCAST BLOG PHOTO (20).png

"How do you have so much energy?"

"You're so consistent - how do you stay motivated?"

I get questions like this into my inbox all the time and why I've decided to dedicated an episode of this series to this very topic.

The truth? I find it so ironic that this is my most requested topic because 3 years ago, I was the FARTHEST thing from consistent, especially on my health & fitness journey.

And I've spent the past few years accumulating tools and resources to be able to create motivation and consistency in my journey that has allowed me to find the energy and confidence I have today.

And I'm excited to share these tools with you so you can get there in YOUR journey too!

In today's episode, some of the things we discuss are:

  • What it actually means to be consistent on your health & wellness journey
  • How to show up as your most confident self
  • The truth about motivation
  • And so much more!

Episode #10: Finding Strength in Unexpected Places | Solo Episode

EPISODE SNEAK PEEK

" There is so much power in sharing the mess along the way too because hello - we are messy humans. We are not this picture perfect wrapped in a present version of ourselves. We are constantly going through it and if we don't believe that there is strength in that, then how can other people feel that it's ok to not have their shit together too?"

When you hear the word strength, what images come up for you?

For so many years, my concept of what it meant to be strong was so skewed, and it wasn't until super recently that everything shifted for me.

Here are a few things I touch on in todays episode:

  • My plans for the long weekend
  • Our definitions of strength as a society
  • Physical strength and why it's so important to me
  • The summer of 2014, aka the summer of "weakness"
  • The saga of not enoughness
  • Social media & its influence on our perceptions of what it means to be strong
  • The power of vulnerability
  • The lightbulb moment I had last week
